A Northwest native from Hillsboro, Oregon, Dr. Scott Lewis attended Pacific University for both under graduate and optometry studies where he also played NAIA collegiate baseball. Dr Lewis is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and received his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors in 2000. Having practiced optometry in the Northwest for over 20 years, Dr. Lewis is excited to be practicing within the East Vancouver/Camas Costco. During his final year of optometry school, Dr. Lewis had a clinical rotation at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute where he was well trained in the areas of ocular disease diagnosis and management. This is especially helpful for patients with diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure where your eye health is an important indicator of your overall health. When you have your eye exam, we will check the pressures of your eyes to check for glaucoma and Dr. Lewis will do a complete ocular health evaluation, including a dilation if necessary. Dr. Lewis also has spent many years working at a busy Lasik center, and has seen thousands of pre and post-operative Lasik patients. He has trained many new optometrists in the preoperative and postoperative care of laser vision surgery patients.
